Do you believe Obama et al are using the racist card to dodge criticism and manipulate votes out of people?

Discuss.

These days he'd be an ill-advised politician if he didn't.

Not sure this would be much different then McCain using the issues important to the religious voters to get their votes.

This may show the ignorance of voters more then race driven, but this is both entertaining and deeply disturbing at the same time:

Obama was certainly the first (and only) candidate to bring up race. He actually said that the McCain campaign would say that he looked funny, had a funny name, and didn't look like all the other presidents, he was 'black'. He actually used the word 'black' O_o As if race mattered in the slightest.

When McCain wins next week make no mistake, the charge will be 'racist America'. Just as with that article you posted, M, "Why McCain Won". Plus, a growing narrative among the Dems has been how the Repubs "stole the election" beginning of course with Gores attempt to actually steal the election by only recounting the counties he wanted :P

Obama hasn't generally tried to make race an issue in the campaign. There have been many politicians on the wings saying silly things like calling Obama a socialist was a code word for 'black', that was a really funny one.
