That's like saying Boy George is only 92% gay. Either way, some guy gets screwed from behind.

Wow. That was a little too vivid.

I thought Boy George was Iggy Pop's sister.

I suppose it was a bit gauche.

It did elicit a snicker, I must admit.

Yep, he's probably the most liberal candidate ever to obtain the nomination, it's really amazing. And at the same time he's learned all the lessons of what not to do, which sunk the candidacies of other liberals. It is, perhaps, heartening though that the only way a democrat can win the presidency is by promising to cut taxes! Who was the last democrat to come out and promise to raise taxes openly, Mondale?!?! Ha!

I keep thinking back to the idea that... if only Alan Keyes had defeated Obama for that senate seat :P But then we'd be facing Hillary instead, I'm not sure which is worse... The republican calculation was that Obama would be easier to beat. We'll see how true that ends up being in a few days.

Miscalculation indeed. The bigger mistake was McCain.

Dr. Paul would have cleaned Obama's clock. ;)

I'm not so certain about that.

Dr. Paul didn't present well.

Obama did happen to present well. So while he was sliding that knife into the heart of our semi-free market economy, he happened to be doing it with a smile. ;)

True. His coaching stunk. He's great in town hall meetings, very smooth and personal. If he had the full force and $$$ of the Republican party he would have been coached better for debates.
