View Full Version : Elections
I knew it would be clear fairly early into the election that Obama would win. Regardless, it has been difficult to watch the country I adore blindly hurl itself head first into socialist decrepitude.

Hey, now. It won't be that bad. The voice of the individualist will have greater impact and find many new ears as the country swings slightly towards socialism.
Revolution 2.0 is coming. Chin-up. Be ready.

Call it cowardice, but I'd decided quite some time ago to leave the US for a while.
I guess I'll be watching from the sidelines.

Sounds like me when I decided to quit college because I found out I was dyslexic (a learning minority). I'm disappointed but I understand.
It's official. Obama is our next President and I just got my first red on a forum for trashing him. ;)
Why not go back to college?
EDIT: Interesting. Someone appears to have removed my red.

I make a good living, I don't have time, I will get little to nothing out of it at the undergraduate level, etc.
Trashing may be a bit premature, but we will get our change don't you worry.
President Obama will solve all our problems. ;) Okay maybe not, but at least those of African dissent will have little to complain about.

Where/what is "red"? Call me a neophyte I have not idea what you are talking about.

I don't believe it is premature. I trashed McCain too. :)
Honestly, what really bugs me is that Obama is going to be in a position to take full credit for a very natural economic rebound and stock market success prior to his attempts to annihilate the economy.

I'm with you on this one.
Peter Schiff may comfort you, speaking about an Obama victory: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSixu-wxvKI

*laugh* A completely useless mechanism.
Some forums use "reputation" meters. Your peers rate your posts either green or red. Green being positive rep. Red being negative rep.
I actually joined forums so I could learn to be more tolerant and patient with people when debating. Until today, as abusive as I've been, I'd never received a negative rep. Technically, I still haven't. *snicker*
*m42 waits for it....

Ah, so clear now. Thanks.

You are my favorite abusive, intolerant forum moderator ever. ;)

Shoot. Was it that obvious?
My position still stands though.

LOL! Thanks. I have _nothing_ on John.
It's closing in on midnight and die hard Obama fanatics are rioting on the streets of downtown Denver.
Insult to injury...with all of this noise, I doubt I'll sleep much tonight. *blah*

Get any sleep?

He has a tough project to tackle. It's probably consuming whatever time he has. I'm sure he'll be back at some point. :)
Get any sleep?
I got about 5 hours. Weeeeee!

Looks like the place to be is Alaska, who is poised to withstand recession, that is if you stay of course. ;)

I love it... seems like the combo of you loosing sleep and the disappointment of 'Obamanation' have awoke the more "abusive, intolerant forum moderator" in your recent posts. Weeeee! :D

I'll be nicer if they'll be smarter. ;)
I leave Sunday for a month or two in Asia. I'll cool down eventually.

Yes. I recognize that. I too am intolerant of ignorance, both of others and my own.

Oh, cool. Have a great time!
