First, let me say I have read extensively hereabouts and the content is what drove me to register. Seems like there's actually a forum to be had where intelligence actually rears it's head. So far, most everyone here has a little on the ball. Do you know how rare that is?

I suppose I will manage to piss several people off in short order, but it's NOT personal. Heinlein, Rand, Jefferson, Locke and Aristotle had a lot to do with my formation--and I am constantly reminded how contradictory the ideas within that conglomeration can be. <sigh>

I hope I make a productive contribution-I'll certainly try.

Perhaps not "contradictory" but paradoxical ideas from your influences... beneficial for reasoned thinking. ;)

By the way, I welcome the attempt to piss me off. Ignorance (both within myself and others) may piss me off...little else will. So you will do me a favor to point out ignorance where it exists in my thinking.
