But it should be noted, that while loss of ice causes loss of ice, it doesn't actually cause loss of ice - that is solely caused by humans.

I wish I had the education that afforded me the brilliance to make such statements:
The Arctic is really the air conditioner of the Northern Hemisphere...
Loss of reason causes loss of reason, but it doesn't actually cause the loss of reason—that is solely caused by humans. ;)

The average temp this day is KCMO is 39 degrees... it was 19 today, but it was 72 this day in 1936?
Wait a minute, weren't we going into an ice age, back in the early 70's?
And global warming there may be... but there is still no hard scientific evidence that ANYTHING humans have done has led to it.
But, hey, Algore says it's true so who are we to argue?
N.B.: surface temp measurments on Venus and Mars show changes roughly analagous with ours...but that big ball of fire in the sky has nothing to do with the temperature of this planet and don't you DARE suggest otherwise!
