A few weeks shy of 9/11, a small group of like minded individuals gathered to form an organization hell bent on regaining the freedoms carelessly lost by the American voters over the past two hundred years. They dubbed this effort: The Free State Project (FSP) (http://www.freestateproject.org/).
The project mission:
Recruit 20,0000 individuals willing to relocate to New Hampshire. These individuals will "exert the fullest practical effort toward the creation of a society in which the maximum role of government is the protection of life, liberty, and property."
Although the FSP has fallen short of the original target date (2006), as of this month, approximately 8505 individuals have pledged to relocate to New Hampshire.
After watching recruitment lag for seven years it should be interesting to see whether or not this project is actually viable.
