So, I belong with a group of individualists I suppose.
Hummm... does a group of individualists really make a collective group?
The irony of a community of individualists will keep me coming back. ;)
You've brought some life into the forum. It was fun chatting with you.
Welcome!

You bring up a good point.
Individualists can act collectively. They should act collectively. The purpose of individualism is to protect individual freedom, and the best way to do that is to act collectively.
The collectivism I oppose is collectivism that impinges upon the freedom of the individual.

I am 100% on board with your opposition. We can act collectively for individualism.
By the way I was being slightly facetious with my"point." :)

I thought so, but always wanted to address that point anyway, even though I know you weren't seriously suggesting anything untoward. :)

If a group of individuals appoints or hires a leader to coordinate collective self-defense, that could lead down the slippery slope to having an involuntary warlord wanting tribute, and then to authoritarian bureaucracy, but at this point that would seem to be the least of our worries
